Show us some autumn leaves.
These leaves are from four different types of trees that grow in our yard. The small yellow leaves are from a
ginkgo tree. It is a beautiful tree, but very messy and smelly in the autumn The leaves with three lobes are from the
sassafras tree that suprised us one year by showing up in our lawn. I love smelling a torn leaf - it smells like root beer! The reddish leaf is from a
sugar maple planted by the county on the strip of land between the sidewalk and street that I called a "tree-bank" growing up, but don't know what to call it now. Finally, the large brown one is a
tulip poplar leaf. I think normally they are yellow in the autumn. Don't know what is wrong with this one.
